Didn't you say you would be working on NeverEnding Legacy by now? What happened? Cookie Clicker is awesome but it gets to be a stale cookie so fast these days. We need that change up with neat research and self expansion idling! :D
i’ve been working on it actually ! i’ll admit it’s been really hard to get myself into the right mindset for Neverending Legacy, many of the changes i’ve got planned drastically alter the nature of the game (notably attempts to either reconcile with or break away from its status as an idle game), and several of my ideas are mutually exclusive so i still have a bunch to do on the game design level before i delve back into the 12,000+ lines of code that make it up
unfortunately i doubt i’ll have something concrete to show before the end of the year, but rest assured that if i’m taking it slow, it’s because i want to do the game justice; it’s one of my biggest projects
along with Cookie Clicker, and i’d really like to get it right this time
ps. i’m still really happy with how i did the map rendering
